Father's Day

Dan was blessed to have all of his girls with him on this Father's Day. He is most definitely a very proud Daddy with 3 of the most beautiful girls in the world and that's why this year we got to tell him that he was the "World's Greatest Dad - Hands Down". That was the piece of art work they presented to him on the morning of Father's Day. The smile on his face and the hugs that he gave told me that he was as happy as could be. Even with all these wonderful things to be happy for, it was also a very sad day. We had the final goodbye for Bob, Dan's father and a grandfather to 6 wonderful grandchildren. His ashes were spread across the grave of Dan's late brother, Will Morris. We spent the day at the Pond House in Huger and a lot of tears were shed. I had not been to the Pond House since February 12th when Bob hosted an Oyster Roast for Dan's birthday. I couldn't help but have a sense of emptiness in my heart with Bob not walking around and entertaining us all. He was a wonderful father-in-law and made me feel so welcomed into the Morris Family. I'll miss him dearly!!! We had a great day though and a lot of memories were made and shared on that special day at the Pond.
