Mother Nature Lovers!

My beautiful, wonderful step daughter, Anna loves everything nature and outdoors. I've watched her over the years mother all animals from puppies to fish and play outdoors in 101 degree weather. She has distributed that nature loving personality into little Emma now too. During our summer months together I have seen the 2 of them try and catch all sorts of creatures and nurture all the animals they can find. It's the cutest thing ever and that's why i thoroughly enjoyed capturing these pictures. Anna found a dead butterfly on our porch and told Emma that the butterfly was in a deep sleep (being 11 years old she wasn't to sure how to explain death to the 2 year old Emma) and that she had to be extra careful and gentle so we didn't wake her up. Emma softly held the butterfly in her hands and was so proud to show it off to me.
